The Technical Review Committee (TRC) is made up of staff members from various departments within the City of Greensboro. The TRC is a public body responsible for plan review and other specified functions (see LDO Sec. 30-3-4). For more information, please review the plan review process.

The TRC takes action on development plans, Type 2 Modifications and easement releases, and makes recommendations on street closings, annexations, Type 3, 4 and 5 Modifications, and other development-related matters, including issues the development community has requested be discussed.

TRC Meeting Dates and Agendas
This unofficial log of meetings contains TRC meeting agendas. Click on the appropriate time period, in the Meeting Documents box to the right, to view the agenda in PDF format. Paper copies of all agendas are also available for public viewing in the Planning Department from 8 am to 5 pm Mondays through Fridays.

Items Eligible for a Meeting
A site plan or preliminary subdivision plan can be placed on the agenda for TRC action once the plan has received  "Approved" or "Conditionally Approved" status from all assigned review points, all conditions have been satisfied, and five full hard-copy plan sets along with any outstanding review or landscaping fees have been received by 2 pm on a given workday. The plan will then be placed on the agenda for the TRC meeting to be held on the following business day. Sketch plans can be scheduled for a discussion during a TRC meeting five working days after their submittal. Recommendations on other matters can be scheduled as the need arises.

Meeting Schedule
TRC has the ability to hold meetings on any working day in order to take action on a plan. These meetings begin at 10 am in the Development Services Conference Room located on the UG Level of the Melvin Municipal Office Building, 300 W. Washington St. If there is no business to conduct at the scheduled daily meeting, the meeting will be canceled for that day.
