Ghoulash! is an annual festival featuring fall and Halloween themed activities led by the Greensboro Youth Council (GYC) in partnership with Greensboro Downtown Parks Inc. This is a family friendly event with most activities geared toward children 12 and under.

Ghoulash will be held from 2:30-5:30 pm on Saturday, October 26. Vendors, music, games, food, candy stations, and more will be on site as you enjoy the festival. The event will occur rain or shine.
Where
We are back in person this year! Center City Park and LeBauer Park host the majority of activities with some activities taking place in the Greensboro Cultural Center.
Parking available in the Church Street or Davie Street parking decks.

Costume Contest Information
Registration for each contest begins at 2:30 pm. Registration ends 10 minutes prior to the contest or until all slots are filled, whichever comes. Only 25 contestants per each age group.
Contest Groups and Times:

Ages 0-3:
- Registration Ends: 2:50 pm
- Line Up Time: 3 pm
- Contest Time: 3:10-3:25 pm

Ages 4-6:
- Registration Ends: 3:20 pm
- Line Up Time: 3:30 pm
- Contest Time: 3:40-3:55 pm

Ages 7-10:
- Registration Ends: 3:40 pm
- Line Up Time: 3:50 pm
- Contest Time: 4-4:15 pm

Ages 11-13:
- Registration Ends: 4:05 pm
- Line Up Time: 4:15 pm
- Contest Time: 4:30-4:45 pm
First, second, and third place prizes will be distributed for each category immediately following the contest and judging.
Volunteers
Sign up on Saturday, October 26 with a mandatory training taking place on Thursday, October 24. If you sign up for the training, then you must also sign up for a shift. These volunteer opportunities are open to current high school students only.

- Saturday, October 26
- Set up (Double Hours) - 11:30 am to 1 pm
- Shift 1 - 1:30-4 pm
- Shift 2 - 3:30-6:30 pm

Community Groups
Sign up to be a community group! Create a fun game or activity, like a basketball toss, and offer small prizes (candy, stickers, etc.). Include info or a QR code to minimize waste. Booths will be in Center City Park.

Vendors
Downtown Greensboro Parks, Inc. is accepting applications from fine arts & crafts, direct sales, and marketing vendors. Priority is given to fine arts & crafts.
- Craft/Artist & Direct Sales fee - $50
- Marketing fee - $100
- Additional $10 for electricity
Submit your application by October 4th. Applicants will be notified by October 11th. Please note, submitting this form does not guarantee participation.
