GYC Members

The Greensboro Youth Council (GYC) implements several projects throughout the year to serve Greensboro's youth and the community. Below is a list of the projects with brief descriptions. Please click a link below or on the left navigation to view more information on a specific project and how to volunteer at a project.



  • Camille's Closet and Theo's Threads - GYC collects new and like new formal wear and accessories to give to young people for prom or homecoming dances. 
  • Ghoulash! - A downtown festival that provides a fun and safe environment for families to enjoy Halloween activities such as face painting, tattoos, and games.
  • Santa's Workshop - A project that collects new and gently used toys to give to families in need during the holiday season.

GYC also offers various workshops throughout the year for Guilford County high school students. Learn more and sign up to attend the workshop.

Past projects of the Greensboro Youth Council include the High IQ Bowl, Artistry Awards, and the GYC Carnival.
