Greensboro’s Department of Transportation (GDOT), the lead planning agency of the Greensboro Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (GUAMPO), invites the public to learn more about and provide comments during the 2024 federal certification review of its planning process.
This review will evaluate the Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (MPO) transportation planning process to ensure it complies with federal requirements, fosters effective decision-making, and supports the development of plans and projects that meet the region's transportation needs. The process also considering public input and diverse community perspectives.
How to Participate:
• Survey: Visit the MPO Certification Review website to complete an
input survey between September 16 and October 1 and share your views on how the transportation planning process is being conducted.
• Online Public Meeting: Noon to 1 pm Monday, September 30. This meeting provides an opportunity for community members to engage directly and share comments.
