Public Review

The East Greensboro Greenway is envisioned to be a  shared-use path and linear park with multiple spurs that serves both transportation and recreational needs. The project will better connect east Greensboro to the downtown core and improve multimodal access to east Greensboro's recreational, cultural, and education destinations.

GUAMPO proposes to amend the region’s 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP), and Bicycle, Pedestrian, Trails, and Greenways (BiPed) Plan to include the preferred route for the East Greensboro Greenway.

To review the East Greensboro Greenway Feasibility Study, visit this webpage and the proposed amendment up for approval at the December 11 TAC meeting.
