Greensboro residents are encouraged to review and comment on the City's HOME-ARP Allocation Plan, which describes how it intends to distribute $6.6M HOME-ARP funds, including how funds will be used to address the needs of HOME-ARP qualifying populations. HOME-ARP is awarded to jurisdictions to reduce homelessness and increase housing stability.
To give your input, attend a virtual Zoom meeting at 12 pm Thursday, February 9. Join the meeting at www.greensboro-nc.gov/HOMEARPInfo a few minutes before 12 pm that day.
Can't attend the Zoom meeting? Submit your comments in writing or verbally by 11:59 pm Friday, March 3, to Shonta Lewis-Fleming by email or by calling 336-373-4636. Call that number also if you want a hard copy of the proposed plan.
All comments will be considered prior to any further action by the City towards plan implementation.
The City intends to submit its HOME-ARP Allocation Plan to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development on or before March 31.
