About  

Camille's Closet and Theo's Threads is dedicated to collecting new and gently worn prom wear, shoes and accessories to provide them free of charge to middle and high school students who would otherwise be unable to afford them. 

We provide young people with a safe and caring "shopping" experience and volunteers to help them find a dress or outfit they love.

Browse the GYC's Camille's Closet & Theo's Threads Wishlist on Amazon to pick and purchase items that will be shipped directly to the GYC Office. It's that easy and you'll have the receipt for your donation. You can also purchase one from a local store and drop off at any of our collection sites.

Donation Guidelines

The donation drive will open in early 2025. We are not accepting items at the moment. Items donated must be purchased 2018 or later and follow the guidelines below.

All items must be:

• Free of stains, snags, rips, and tears
• In good working condition
• Include all accents such as beading, laces, buckles, and snaps.

Prom Wear

• We are in need of plus sized dresses and gowns, and big and tall dress shirts and pants.

Accessories

• Jewelry clasps and backs must be in working condition.
• Purse zippers, snaps, and clasps must close.
• Dress shoes or heels with no scratches, scuffs, or major wear.

Items that are tarnished, discolored or that do not meet these guidelines will not be accepted.
