Service Interruption Notices
If GTA or Access GSO services are delayed or canceled, you can receive service notices in several ways.
Winter Weather Service Alert - Website: A notice will be posted on ridegta.com as well as the City of Greensboro's winter closings page.
 - Media: Notices will be displayed on WFMY News 2, WGHP Fox 8 and Spectrum News television, as well as their respective websites.
 - Social Media: You can be the first to receive service updates by following us on Twitter @gtaheat and Instagram @gtaheatbus.
- Registered Access GSO users will also receive a phone notification at the phone number we have on file.

Snow Routes (Currently being updated)
Snow Route IconDuring severe weather service, GTA and HEAT will attempt to use normal routes if it is safe. Sometimes, we may alter service routes to avoid streets that may be impassable. These are what we refer to as snow routes. You can call GTA Customer Service at 336-335-6499 to confirm active bus stops during winter weather.

Office Hours
The Public Transportation Division follows the City of Greensboro schedule for the establishment of office hours
during weather events. If the Public Transportation Division Offices at 223 W. Meadowview Rd. closes, many services such as bus pass sales will still be available at the J. Douglas Galyon Depot customer service office whenever buses are in service.
