*Note: When paying fares with the UMO card or app, you will automatically benefit from "fare capping" where you will never pay more than $4/$2 per calendar day for rides or $58/$29 for 31-days, eliminating the need to purchase a one-day or 31-day unlimited ride pass.

Discounts

Purchase and use of discount passes may require presentation of a free fixed-route GTA-issued identification card. GTA makes ID cards at the Depot Mondays to Fridays 9 am to 6 pm. Be prepared to present proper documentation.

Bus Pass Donations

GTA serves our community with a fixed-route bus pass donation program providing up to 100 passes for non-profit or governmental agencies. For requirements and to apply, go to the Bus Pass Donations Page

City of Greensboro Employee Pass

All City of Greensboro employees are entitled to receive a Greensboro Transit Agency unlimited ride employee pass. To get your pass, send your request from your City email address to GTAEmployeePass@greensboro-nc.gov or visit the Depot Customer Service office with your City ID card.
