Home MenuRequest A Vehicle Crash Report
A motor vehicle crash report is typically written and recorded by a police officer at the scene of a motor vehicle crash.
The Greensboro Police Department will provide reports to the drivers, the passengers and the registered owners of the vehicles (or property owners) involved in a crash.
Vehicle crashes where the total value of the damages is less than $1,000, and where exchange slips only were exchanged by an officer, does not necessitate the generation of a vehicle crash report.
If you have been involved in a motor vehicle crash, you may be qualified to request the associated report. Please note that the Federal Driver’s Privacy Protection Act requires seekers to certify that they are qualified to receive the information prior to getting a copy of the report.
To receive an electronic copy of a Greensboro Police Department Crash Report, you must be one of the following:
- Involved – You must be involved (vehicle operator / registered owner / property owner / passenger of vehicle / pedestrian involved in the crash).
