The Guilford County Sheriff’s Department accepts applications for both Handgun Permits and Conceal Carry Permits. 

As part of the application for a Concealed Carry Permit, you must attend a Carry Concealed Weapons class. Many local businesses offer this class. You can find them by searching the Internet or calling your nearest firing range.
