Purpose of the Grant

The 2024 Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PROHousing) grant, administered by the federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Department, will work to broaden the range of housing types that can be built in our growing city and remove barriers to building affordable housing.

The grant application includes an approximately $1.75-million grant request to fund demonstration projects, education and outreach, and amendments to regulatory framework.

The public comment period for this grant closed October 11.
