To ensure the Land Development Ordinance continues to effectively manage Greensboro's growth and development, this ordinance may be amended from time to time. After a review by staff to determine appropriate wording and potential impacts on other standards in the LDO, the typical text amendment process involves a public hearing before both the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council.

Pending Text Amendments

• City has prepared a draft amendment about Accessory Dwelling Units and anticipates placing the amendment on an upcoming Planning and Zoning Commission agenda for review.

Paper copies of all amendments are also available for public viewing in the Planning Department Mondays through Fridays between 8 am and 5 pm.
