Welcome to the GYC Carnival!
Thank you for visiting the GYC Carnival webpage.
For 51 years, this was the largest youth-run event in the state
with exhilarating rides and fun for the entire family.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. The GYC Carnival has been removed from the Greensboro Youth Council budget and will now be operated as a spring festival by the Greensboro Coliseum.
GYC thanks the many patrons, sponsors, vendors, and teen volunteers, as well as the James H. Drew Exposition and Greensboro Coliseum who made the GYC Carnival a success each year.
For those interested in being a vendor or performer at the new spring festival, please contact the Greensboro Coliseum at 336-373-7400. Thank you again for your continued support!
The Greensboro Youth Council encourages you attend and participate in its other community events throughout the year.
About GYC: The Greensboro Youth Council exists to develop leadership and volunteer opportunities for Guilford County high school students through the planning and implementation of unique youth-run programs that benefit and serve the community.
