We are proud to announce that Smith Active Adult Center has received its five year re-certification as a North Carolina "Center of Excellence" by the North Carolina Division of Aging. Woo! Centers of Excellence are recognized for providing exemplary services and opportunities to older adults in their communities, and serve as mentors and models to other senior centers across the state. Every third Thursday you can get information about jobs in the community and local colleges and universities, all while enjoying free pancakes and breakfast! Join us at Peeler Recreation Center from 10:30 am to 12 noon this Thursday!
Windsor Recreation Center and Nocho Park will close Friday, August 16, 2024, in preparation for construction of the Windsor Chavis Nocho Community Complex. The pool at Windsor Recreation Center will remain open through Monday, September 2.
Beginning Friday, August 16, all programs and events scheduled for the Windsor Recreation Center will move to other facilities during construction. For further information please contact Facilities Coordinator Erica Chadwick at 336-430-9083.

Athletic programs scheduled for Nocho Park’s Levette Field have been relocated to other fields. For reservations at other athletic locations, please contact reach out to Athletics Superintendent Monique Floyd at 336-412-5799.
