Country Park

Country Park is located within the Battleground Parks District. With over 400 acres, 13 miles of trails, 3 parks, 1 historical site, and 1 science center, the Battleground Parks District has something for everyone.

Most features at Country Park can be reasonably accessed by someone using a mobility device.

    • Boats operate 10 am to 6 pm
    • 2024 Pedal Boat Season:
      • Weekends only April 27 until May 26
      • Daily May 27 to August 26
      • Weekends only August 27 until October 27
      • Last boat leaves at 5:30 pm
    • Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and smart device tap-pay accepted with no transaction fees
    • No reservations necessary. First come, first served.

Parking:

The park loop road is a dedicated pedestrian and cyclist zone. Residents who use mobility devices and have accessibility concerns are encouraged to use the parking lot off of Orman Road, but may contact the Country Park staff at 336-430-6562 during park hours for assistance.

Country Park Shuttle: 

The Country Park Shuttle is a free service that operates on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 12 - 6 pm from May to October. The shuttle runs a continuous loop with 7 stops around the park and takes approximately 10-15 minutes to make the full loop. Please yield to the Shuttle and use caution when sharing the bicycle lane.
