Be Our Partner
At Greensboro Parks and Recreation, we rely on individuals, nonprofits, and businesses who donate their services, money, and time to enhance what we offer. Please consider making a charitable donation today, or exploring some of these specific sponsorship opportunities.
Garden Event Sponsors
Greensboro Parks and Recreation and Greensboro Beautiful have collaborated for more than 50 years to develop and enhance Greensboro's four gardens. Together, we co-produce three major garden events throughout the year, World Promenade, Makers Way at Gateway, and Art in the Arboretum. There is an average reach of 3,000 individuals in attendance on event day. Learn how you can become a sponsor for one (or all three!) events. See sponsorship guide for details.
Discover Greensboro Sponsors
Three times a year, Parks and Recreation publishes Discover Greensboro, a 40-page magazine that details all the event, programs, and outdoor adventure offered by the City. 5,000 printed guides are distributed and the guide is viewed online more that 30,000. times. See sponsorship guide for details.
Downtown Greenway Sponsors
With more than 180 unique programs and signature events every year, the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department has a lot to offer the 100,000+ annual Downtown Greenway visitors. From fitness classes and kids activities to environmental education and volunteer opportunities, the Downtown Greenway is hopping year-round with free programs. See sponsorship guide for details on how you or your business can support throughout the year.
Athletics League Sponsors
Our recreation and athletic programs are designed to reach residents of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds. They emphasize health and wellness, encourage conservation and appreciation for natural areas, and provide social opportunities.
Partnership opportunities include cash donations to support the program costs as well as in-kind donations. Sponsor benefits include business or name recognition on banners, signs, and table skirts at our facilities and inclusion in marketing and program materials or uniforms.
