The Consolidated Planning process for FY 2020-24 was completed in August 2020. The Consolidated Plan communicates to HUD the City’s priorities for the uses of pass-through grants from HUD to Greensboro for the next five years.

The Plan

  • Responds to community needs
  • Outlines achievable, measurable goals
  • Supports established City goals related to housing and community development

Every May, the Housing & Neighborhood Development Department also submits an Action Plan to HUD that details what activities the City plans to accomplish that year. Neighborhood Development reports back to HUD on its yearly accomplishments by submitting a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) in September each year.
