People may experience homelessness for a variety of reasons. That's why nonprofit agencies, governments, and concerned individuals work together as community partners in Guilford County to reduce or eliminate homelessness.

The Housing & Neighborhood Development Department administers funding for nonprofit agencies to provide homelessness prevention services, which are funded annually from local and federal grant sources.
