Guilford Metro 9-1-1 Information Systems is responsible for maintaining accurate map and address information for all properties inside Guilford County, including Greensboro and High Point. The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Coordinator for GM 9-1-1 works with local GIS and Planning Departments to ensure all information on new streets and addresses is up to date. It is the responsibility of the GIS Coordinator to make sure GM 9-1-1 telecommunicators can locate every caller and send the appropriate agency for assistance.
