The Collections Division collects all amounts due and payable to the City of Greensboro, including privilege licenses, business permits, parking tickets, assessment charges, utility service charges, housing and community development loan payments, solid waste collection and disposal charges, false burglar alarm payments, payments for cemetery plots, and other miscellaneous fees and charges. This division also issues business permits.

The Collections Division is located in Room 11 on the Upper Ground (UG) Level of the Melvin Municipal Office Building, 300 W. Washington St. The mailing address is Collections Division, PO Box 3136, Greensboro, NC 27402-3136.

To make payments in person, visit the Melvin Municipal Office Building or the Kitchen Operations Center at 2602 S. Elm-Eugene St. 

Online payments can now be made for water and sewer utility bills, parking tickets, building inspections, plan reviews, privilege licenses, and miscellaneous invoices.
