Historic Preservation Commission Special Meeting

To participate in the meeting:

If you want to speak on an agenda item, please email Stefan-leih Geary no later than 10 am Wednesday, January 11. You will then be emailed the online meeting link and instructions on how to participate prior to the start of the meeting.

There is no option to provide handouts or other documents the day of the meeting. If you have presentations, pictures or other materials for the hearing, please email them to Stefan-leih Geary no later than 10 am Wednesday, January 11. No materials received after this time will be distributed at the meeting.

All speakers will be sworn in for the record and no written or emailed comments will be considered by the commission due to the quasi-judicial nature of HPC.


The Historic Preservation Commission is a nine-member board appointed by the City Council that reviews applications for Certificates of Appropriateness for exterior work in Greensboro's three local Historic Districts. Members must be qualified based on interest or experience in history, architecture, archaeology, or related fields.
