New Habits Greensboro Learning Circle

  • CostFree

Between 81 and 92 percent of New Year’s Resolutions fail. That means at least 8 times out of 10, you are more likely to fall back into your old habits and patterns than you are to stick with a new behavior. Behavior change is hard. Why is that? What are the biggest reasons new habits fail to stick? And what can we do to make positive changes easier?

Join us and explore these questions in a new Greensboro Learning Circle. Explore simple strategies for new habits for a new year. In this three-part series, we will:

  • Learn to make bad habits harder.
  • Observe how small changes in your environment can make a big difference.
  • Practice repeating new behaviors

GSO Learning Circles provides free courses to the Greensboro community through the online learning program Peer to Peer University. Course material will be presented with a facilitator to provide assistance, but there will be no teacher or expert. We learn together. Circles are based on peer learning, community and equity for creative and sustainable learning communities. This project was originally funded through a grant from UNCG Communication Department to create resilient communities.
