Journalist Benjamin Wagner first met “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” creator and star Fred Rogers at Rogers’ summer home in Nantucket, Mass. They were actual neighbors. 

After Rogers’ death in 2003, Wagner and his brother, Christofer, set out to meet some of the people the television icon had met and influenced during his lifetime to learn more about the man himself. Their documentary quest unearths the roots of Rogers’ values.
