Eric M. Woodard, formerly of Wilson, has penned a book in hopes to help cash-strapped people be able to still live in style. The book, aptly named Thrifty Chic: How to Live Like a Million Bucks, describes Woodard’s journey designing his own 1,000-square-foot apartment on a tight budget. This book was written, in part, as a guide to show people how they can redecorate and create their perfect designer space without spending a lot of money. Woodard graduated from Beddingfield High School and the School of Design at North Carolina State University and has worked as an architectural model builder, an interior and exterior designer of architectural signage, and a consumer product designer. Woodard will be selling and autographing copies of his book at the event.
