In today’s society, parents, caregivers, and grandparents face many challenges. In this four part series we will explore parenting communication building blocks and tools to help you communicate with your child and adults in their environment. Some topics will include communicating with play with your child, best ways to advocate for your child in school and healthcare settings, basic reading tips to promote positive wellbeing in early years of your child’s education settings.
This is a Learning Circle, so the group will refine discussion topics collaboratively. Each session will follow a consistent format: Check-in, Read & Watch, Activity, and Closing Reflection. Families are welcome. Healthy snacks will be provided. To register, contact Beth Sheffield at the Greensboro Public Library.
