Saturday Night Lights
This is a summertime social, arts and vocational event for youth ages 13-18 that allows them to spend an evening in downtown Greensboro, socialize with friends, and dance to the latest DJ hits. In addition, teens can participate in mini-classes for pottery, African drumming, Hip Hop, and stand-up comedy, and enjoy a showing of the Spoken Word poetry documentary called “Louder than a Bomb.”
Also on tap, the Linkage Design Group presents a free introductory session on its digital sculpting and 3D design workshops. Several teens may have an opportunity to apply for additional training and internships with Volvo/Mack Trucks. Registration forms for the workshops will be available on site.
