Twenty law enforcement agencies will participate in this 500-mile ride from Charlotte to Washington, DC in honor of Officer Fred Thornton whose name will be added to the memorial this year. Aptly name "Five Hundred for Fred," the riders will make a stop in Greensboro and lay a wreath at the Guilford County Law Enforcement Memorial on Governmental Plaza.
