This show corresponds with the "A Fine Romance: Jewish Songwriters, American Songs, 1910-1965" exhibit at the Central Library Gallery through April 20. The exhibit highlights the work of Jewish songwriters who wove the American songbook deep into the fabric of our culture. It explores the contributions of songwriters such as George and Ira Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein. Greensboro is one of only 55 sites nationwide that will host this exhibit in 2011-12. For questions, contact Beth Sheffield or call 336-373-3617.
