Be inspired by a piece of art. Join us for a poetry workshop responding to Alex Figueroa’s Unsung Heroines/Heroes community art box. A community art box is like a Little Free Library. Poetry will fill the box, the public is invited to read the poem, talk about it, and write a response in a journal included in each box. Be a part of a project exposing people to poetry where they did not expect it. Figueroa’s artistic expression will spark your imagination.
