Rhyme and Wine: Celebrating Dr. Seuss

  • CostFree

Theodor Geisel, more commonly known as Dr. Seuss, was born on March 2nd, 1904. This year, the date coincides with Greensboro's First Friday. Across the United States libraries celebrate the day as Read Across America/Dr. Seuss Day and usually offer a variety of children's events. But why should they have all the fun?

The Greensboro Public Library is teaming with Zeto Wine & Cheese Shop to present an adult version of Dr. Seuss Day. Come and read your favorite Dr. Seuss book (or part of one). There will be celebrity readers and a few surprises. Donations will also be accepted for the Greensboro Public Library Foundation.
