Come out and enjoy unique stringed Christmas music by guitar, violin and dulcimer. This "Impromptu Group" of musicians meet each Wednesday at the Bryan YMCA. They will entertain us with their sweet sounds and put you in the Christmas spirit!
The Greensboro Senior Artists Guild is tailored for seasoned artists willing to share their creative wisdom with the Greensboro community.
Our Mission:
• To encourage creative self-expression and skill sharing in a mutually supportive environment to further artistic development among members.
• To foster the value and appreciation of older artists through exhibitions, performances, print, social media, technology, special projects and encouraging participation in the Greater Greensboro Senior Games SilverArts competition.
• To create outlets to market our creations, and, as group, create a safe, respectful and open meeting place for like-minded individuals.
• To reach out to existing organizations to collaboratively promote lifelong learning in the arts.
Meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 1:30 pm at Smith Senior Center. Holidays may require a date change. Membership dues are $12 per year.
