The Greensboro Senior Artists Guild is tailored for seasoned artists willing to share their creative wisdom with the Greensboro community.
Our Mission:
• To encourage creative self-expression and skill sharing in a mutually supportive environment to further artistic development among members.
• To foster the value and appreciation of older artists through exhibitions, performances, print, social media, technology, special projects and encouraging participation in the Greater Greensboro Senior Games SilverArts competition.
• To create outlets to market our creations, and, as group, create a safe, respectful and open meeting place for like-minded individuals.
• To reach out to existing organizations to collaboratively promote lifelong learning in the arts.
Meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 1:30 pm at Smith Senior Center. Holidays may require a date change. Membership dues are $12 per year.

“Hooked” On Crochet
Learn the intricacies of crochet: thread, needles, and techniques from our in-house crochet expert, Paulette Elway. Gain a stronger appreciation of the skill involved in crocheted items. Again, we will be having a sharing session, so bring an item that represents your skills and/or interests. We will also be presenting an update on our Online Store.
