This discussion focuses on Reynolds Price's inspirational book A Whole New Life: An Illness and will be lead by Friends of the Greensboro Public Library volunteer Whitney Vanderwerff. Vanderwerff is a cancer survivor who found strength through art and healing workshops at the Cone Cancer Center. Assisting her with this program is Chaplain Terry Moore-Painter from Moses Cone Health Center.
A continental breakfast at 7:30 am kicks off the event and the program begins at 8 am. Reserve a seat by e-mailing Steve Sumerford.
