Join us Memorial Day weekend as American Legion Post 53 sponsors the annual Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony.

Flags in: The placing of small American flags at the gravestones of service members buried in the veterans' section of the cemetery takes place at 9 am Saturday.

Remembrance Ceremony:

• Welcome - 2 pm Sunday, May 25
• Wreath Layings - Knights of Columbus and other groups 
• Guest Speaker - Rep. Howard Coble
• 21-Gun Salute  - South Eastern High School ROTC
• Reading of the names of each Guilford County veteran who has past away in the past year.
