Buy gently used books at affordable prices at the Friends of the Greensboro Public Library Semi-Annual Used Book Sale. You can find bestsellers in fiction and non-fiction along with a variety of popular children and youth books, cookbooks, coffee table books, art, history, and science books, CDs, DVDs, puzzles, and much more. There is a real possibility you can find that "rare" book that you have been looking for or some other treasure.
Proceeds from the sale go to the Friends of the Greensboro Public Library, a diverse nonprofit organization whose purpose is to support the community’s cultural and literary needs. The Friends of the Library helps support the mission of the Greensboro Public Library.
This year's sale runs from 10 am to 6 pm on Friday, October 4; from 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday, October 5; and from 2-5 pm on Sunday, October 6.
A special pre-sale event/reception for members of the Friends of the Library is from 5:30-8 pm Thursday, October 3. Friends memberships will be available at the door. For more information call 336-373-3777.
