Dr. Rosalind Fuse-Hall, Bennett College’s 17th President, will be the featured speaker at the Women’s Equality Day Celebration on Saturday, August 24 at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex Terrace. Festivities begin at 8 am and breakfast will be served.
Women’s Equality Day honors the 93rd Anniversary of the end of Women's Suffrage and Ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U. S. Constitution signed on August 26, 1920. The event is sponsored by the Commission on the Status of Women, Women of Guilford and the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. The event theme is "Challenging Greensboro to Live Up to its Founding Principles."
