Creative Greensboro presents a staged reading of Carl Grasso’s “In the Ring” as part of the Greensboro Playwrights’ Forums Page to Stage Reading series at 6 pm, June 1 in the Stephen D. Hyers Theatre at the Greensboro Cultural Center, 200 N. Davie St. The series is free to attend and features a talk back session with the writer and cast afterwards.

“In the Ring” contains adult language and themes.

About “In the Ring”

In the year 2007, Ashley McClernon, famous reality TV pop rock star, is the prize in a breakfast cereal sweepstakes. One lucky customer will have a grand catered dinner at a luxury hotel exclusively with the rock star all alone. However, the winner of the grand prize is no fan of McClernon. What results is an hour-long verbal boxing match with a lot of twists turns and one very delicious smelling bar of soap!
