Join us on International Women's Day as we build common ground and honor the creativity and leadership of women around the world, Join us for an open mic, celebrating women. In the spirit of this year's theme, Inspire Inclusion, we invite women and men to gather and share a piece of prose, a poem, a personal memory, or a piece of art created or inspired by a woman from another country. Writers and non-writers alike are welcome. We will have writings available if you don't want to read your own work.

Melissa Hassard is a writer, poet, activist, and organizer in the labor movement, and co-editor of Red Sky, a collection of writings and poetry on the global epidemic of violence against women and femmes. 

Debra Kaufman is the author of the poetry collections Outwalking the Shadow, God Shattered, Delicate Thefts, The Next Moment, and A Certain Light, as well as three chapbooks, many monologues and short plays, and five full-length plays.
