The "Ready Readers" program is a monthly event for young readers that highlights popular book series that children love. Each event includes selections read aloud by the librarian from favorite easy reader or early chapter books, followed by a craft or activity, and book recommendations.

This month we are reading the Ty's Travels series by Kelly Starling Lyons. This month's program will include a showcase of black scientists and inventors, a traffic light treat, and hands-on experiments with paper airplanes, Lego balloon cars, and Lego zipline creations!

This program is recommended for ages 5-8, but all ages are welcome.
