The "Ready Readers" program is a monthly event for young readers that highlights popular book series that children love. Each event includes selections read aloud by the librarian from favorite easy reader or early chapter books, followed by a craft or activity, and book recommendations.
This month we are learning about the Zoey and Sassafras books by Asia Citro as well as other books about STEAM, magical animals, and more! Today we will be doing experiments with pumpkins, including creating a pumpkin piano with the Makey Makey, catapults for candy pumpkins, and a pumpkin volcano.
This program is recommended for ages 5-8, but all ages are welcome.

This event is part of the Greensboro Public Library's One City, One Book program for the fall of 2023.
