Book Burst Bash on Autism

National Autism Month

  • CostFree

April is National Autism Month. Meet local authors R. V. and Marlene Kuser, as they share their inspiration behind their latest YA novel Weight  A Minute. It is set in Winston-Salem and has been praised by Dr. Cynthia Briggs of Walden University for its “meaningful discussions” about autism and how “everyone can be a hero in their own lives”.

R. V. Kuser is an individual with profound autism who works as a teacher, developmental specialist, autism consultant, and speaker. "Challenged, but Not Defeated" reflects his strategies for coping with autism and schizophrenia. Marlene has provided much love and support to R.V. who contributes his success to her. Door prizes and book signing will follow the presentation. Copies of the books will be for sale at the event.

This is an in person and Zoom event. Contact Ronald Headen at this email or 336-412-6199 for more information and to register. Please specify if you are attending in person or via Zoom to receive the meeting link.
