A landfill is a permanent resting place for waste. At Greensboro's White Street Landfill only construction and demolition waste are accepted. Learn what a landfill is, how it's made, and what it looks like. Is it big? Is it stinky? Do animals live there? Registration required.
Tours are for participants 8 years old and up.
Closed toed shoes and long pants required.
Carpooling recommended due to limited parking.
