The Caldcleugh Organic Outreach Garden presents Preserving the Harvest, an interactive tasting demonstration on how to dehydrate, pickle and ferment your summer garden haul. The class will take place from 6:30-7:30 pm, August 8, at the Caldcleugh Multicultural Art Center, 1700 Orchard St. A donation of $5 is suggested. Space is limited. Call 336-373-2974 to register.
Todd Fisher, from Parks and Recreation’s City Arts division, will teach the class with produce from the organic outreach garden. Donations will help City Arts provide quality educational classes throughout the year.
