Trout season is officially open in the pond at Lake Higgins! Trout fishing is available Tuesday through Sunday, 8 am to 4 pm. The pond will remain stocked through February. The cost to fish is $2 per person. All fish caught, must be kept and weighed. The cost of fish is $5 per pound. Please check-in at the marina office before fishing.

Trout season is quickly approaching! If you have been looking forward to fresh trout, then read ahead. The pond at Lake Higgins will be stocked on November 12th. The cost to fish is $2 per person. All fish caught, must be kept and weighed. The cost of fish is $5 per pound. Please check-in at the marina office before fishing. Trout fishing is available Tuesday through Sunday, 8 am to 4 pm. 🚨 Join us this Saturday, October 19th at Lake Brandt to celebrate Great Trails State Day from 1-4 pm. During this event the parking lot at the marina will be closed. Parking and shuttle service to the marina will be available at Jesse Wharton Elementary School beginning at 12:15 pm. Boaters wishing to launch during this time may use Lake Higgins or Lake Townsend.
