Get Your GEANI Emergency Notifications
Receive important public safety information on your home and cell phones (e-mail and text) from the GEANI system. GEANI sends messages based on where an incident is taking place or will take place and where you live or work. All land-line phone numbers published in local phone books are automatically enrolled in GEANI, but you must self-register unpublished land-line numbers, cellular numbers and VoIP telephone numbers by going to this website. |

NOAA weather radios for all-threat alerts?
And did you know that community groups, churches, and neighborhood associations may contact either the
Greensboro Police Department at 373-2636 or
Fire Department at 574-4088 to schedule preparedness training, or that you may call
Guilford County Emergency Management at 641-2278 to discuss specific protective plans?
This site is designed to help you prepare your family, coworkers, and neighbors during emergencies. Sharing plans and communicating in advance is a good strategy. Like other areas of Homeland Security, the time to prepare is now!
