Calling all Mobile Food Units

Greensboro Parks and Recreation welcomes mobile food trucks and trailers at regional parks. Reserve your space online.

Details

  • Reservations are required. 
  • Rental hours from 11 am to 7 pm, seven days a week.
  • Rentals are allowed at Barber, Country, Hester, and Keeley Parks. 
  • Equipment, including trucks and trailers, must be removed at the end of the day.
  • Pushcarts or strolling throughout the park is not allowed.
  • Sound amplification is not allowed.
  • Power required for trucks and trailers shall be self-contained and they shall not use utilities drawn from the parks, lakes, gardens or recreation centers unless specifically authorized to do so within the permit or written agreement with Greensboro.
  • All units shall comply with City Code, Chapter 13, and Chapter 26, including obtaining a Mobile Food Unit Permit from Guilford County Department of Public Health or county of residency and complying with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

  • Cancellations will only be accepted prior to the first day of your rental week. Call 336-373-5888 to cancel your reservation.

  • Rental rates are $35 per day.

  • Country Park, 3905 Nathanael Greene Dr., 11 am to 7 pm
  • Barber Park, 1500 Barber Park Dr., 11 am to 7 pm
  • Hester Park, 800 Ailanthus St., 11 am to 7 pm

Check-in 

On the first day of your reservation at the park, park managers will verify your documentation before your set-up can begin. Have your reservation receipt, Guilford County MFU Permit, and your Greensboro Business Permit on hand as they will be required for check-in.
