Try to Balance the Budget
Balancing Act is an online simulation tool you can use to create your own City of Greensboro budget. Give Balancing Act a try!
The Balancing Act tool represents a high-level look at City operations and highlights services that have the most impact on Greensboro residents.
When using the simulator, remember:
Each click adds or subtracts one percent of the overall category. For example, if police had a budget of $50 million, one click would add or subtract $500,000 from the overall police budget.
The goal is to get as close to balanced without leaving a deficit. Since each click is one percent of the service budget, getting to $0 may be difficult. However, a small surplus is fine.
