Greensboro's Parks and Recreation Department operates ENERGY at the Park, a free summer neighborhood playground program, at various sites throughout the city.

What is ENERGY at the Park?
ENERGY at the Park is education, nutrition, exercise, recreation, and games for youth. The goal of the program is to provide children ages 5-15 (five-year-olds must have completed kindergarten to participate) with a location within their neighborhood to participate in active and passive activities during the day. Play is supervised by department staff during posted hours. However, in inclement weather staff will leave the playground. ENERGY at the Park will be held weekly, Monday though Thursday, from 10 am to 2 pm beginning June 24 and ending August 8. We will not operate ENERGY at the Park on July 4, in observance of City of Greensboro holiday.
